Australian Storytelling Guild (NSW) Inc
Focus of storytelling in Australia, with links to guilds in each state, storytellers, events (including the

Story Arts Online
Created by Heather Forest, this educator's resource explores the use of storytelling in the classroom to
enhance student's speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. It includes a story library of concise
folktale plots, lesson plans, and a webliography of storytelling links.
Welcome to "Stories of the Dreaming"
- a collaboration between Australia's Cultural Network (through the Federal Department of
Communications, Information Technology and the Arts) and the Australian Museum. The stories come
from the cultures of Indigenous Australians and have been collected from all over Australia. They reflect
an essential part of the life of Indigenous Australians.

A Centenary of Federation. For it's first stamp the commonwealth of Australia had to wait thirteen
Years. The final choice was between a stamp with a map of Australia encircling a kangaroo or King
surrounded by wattle, emu and kangaroo. It was an important decision because it would be 'an
