Storytelling Packages

Anne E Stewart has been telling stories for over twenty-two years in her work as a librarian, teacher and

storyteller. She has entertained at Festivals, conferences and as an after dinner speaker.

A wealth of experience sees her able to entertain, engage and enthrall audiences from 2 to 92.

Pre-School Storytime

Anne started her storytelling career with pre-school storytimes in libraries. Over the years she has

collected many nursery rhymes, songs and stories that help introduce children to, and develop in them,

a love of language and literature. Areas that support and enhance the curriculum's early listening, speaking

and writing skills.

Primary Schools

Anne's repertoire with Primary Schools includes great myths and legends of the world,

'true' ghost stories set in Australia and an introduction to local history and stories of our indigenous flora,

fauna and landscapes. In the year of 100 years of Federation and the 150th Anniversary of the discovery

of gold Anne has an interesting range of stories to support the curriculum.

Secondary Schools

Myths and legends of the Celts keep the most reluctant teenagers spellbound while

local history stories, Australiana, and stories of our Indigenous People give a voice to the landscape, its

people and our shared history. Anne's thought provoking stories will support your curriculum in SOSE,

English and History.

Tertiary Education

Anne is available for workshops to share her storytelling experience and instruct on the importance of

stories and how to go about it. Her enthusiasm and passion for the subject will motivate students.
